Weight loss is often associated with the number on the scale, and people want immediate results; however, the focus should be on one’s overall health. Do not fall for those “Lose 10-20 pounds in x amount of time” deals. Dieting often results in weight gain after several months or years after the initial weight loss. This is because diets do not last unless you change your lifestyle to include exercise and healthier meals.
