Thank you to everyone who has signed up to challenge themselves with the Kilimanjaro hike. Not only are you going to be taking on a task that will prove beneficial to your health but it is also going to be a unique and fun experience one will never forget. We would also like to thank everyone for following us and keeping up with our nutritional lessons.
Whether you are climbing a mountain or taking a jog around the blog, just make sure you are doing something! You don’t have to keep things too mundane either. Try mixing things up next time you workout so maybe instead jogging around the block, you could join some hiking trails, or climb up a neighborhood hill or even try running up a sand dune! Anything you can do to keep you working out is key! By making sure things don’t get too repetitive, you will look forward to your workouts and enjoy them more.
Another point we would like to make is to make sure you don’t get too burned out. Sometimes we can work our bodies so hard and so often that we don’t give ourselves sufficient time to rest and relax. If this happens to you, you may find yourself extremely demotivated and unwilling to workout. So, it is extremely important to make sure that you are giving your body enough relaxation time so you can reboot and attack your workouts hard every time.
At the bottom of it all, it is just simply important to keep yourself motivated. If taking a day off so that you could attack your next workout harder, do it. At the end of the day, you won’t continue doing something you don’t enjoy so make sure your diet and workout habits are something that you can keep for months at a time. Anyhow, if you are reading this right now, you are taking the right steps towards getting healthy so you’re doing something right! Continue to be responsible and make the right decisions and you will see a new you in no time!
